56th Presidental Inaugration
We are thawing out from 8 hours in 20 degree weather. This morning Chuck, Ashlee, and I left the house to stand in line for the inaugration. It was worth the wait...President Obama's speech was GREAT, our spots on the Capitol lawn were perfect, and there were millions of people on the national mall. More pics to come...

Wow - either a great camera or great standing location - or combo of both. What an experience. It was great from a thousand miles away- I can't imagine how great it was being there.
Can you confirm/deny what was in the NYtimes blog - they said the crowd sang the "Na na na...good-by" song to the helicopter! If true - a fitting so long to a sports fan/owner, as well as a interesting statement!
Aunt Jill
Yep. They sang that several times. The loudest was when he was introduced. I was not that impressed at that time - it was the middle of a pretty formal ceremony.
So the camera was the same old point and shoot that was the focus of the leaving - mailing - loosing - claiming - reimbursing - finding - debacle from our last WI visit. We were reasonably close, but had a great zoom as well.
